Ο Vikingur Olafsson εμπνευσμένος από τη συνάντηση του με τον θρυλικό συνθέτη Gyogy Kurtag από την Ουγγαρία και αναπολώντας τις παιδικές του αναμνήσεις, καταλήγει στο μουσικό project του “From Afar”!
Όπως αναφέρει ο ίδιος: «Το “From Afar” είναι πιο προσωπικό από τα προηγούμενα έργα μου. Συνδέεται πολύ βαθιά με την παιδική μου ηλικία και αποτίνει φόρο τιμής σε έναν από τους πιο αγαπημένους μου συνθέτες όλων των εποχών».
